Exploring Produce Safety from Farm to Institution for Safe Local Food Success

Help us design educational programs to support local produce purchasing needs of institutional buyers!

How do you verify safety practices of fresh produce suppliers? Do you purchase fresh produce for your institution or know someone that does? Please consider taking and/or sharing a survey about supplier food safety requirements. All of the questions are in multiple choice format and the survey will take an estimated time of 7 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous and participation is completely voluntary.

The aim of this survey is to gather data from institutional food buyers on accepted food safety verification programs for fresh produce, awareness of the program’s requirements for farms, and confidence in these verification programs. This information is vital to development of educational programs that can advance your efforts to supply safe, local produce to your eaters!

The survey will be open through August 31, 2020.
